Gwalior, August 18 (HS). The foundation day of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya will be celebrated on August 20 at 11 am in the Dantopant Thengadi Auditorium. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Arvind Kumar Shukla, held a meeting on Sunday regarding the preparations for the program. While giving instructions in the meeting, he said that the event should be held with full grandeur, all the guests who will attend the event will be welcomed with flowers.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Foundation Day, the journey of the university in the last 17 years and the research done by the scientists till date will be told. Due to which the income of the farmers increased and farming became a profitable business. Similarly, the officers and employees who have done remarkable work in the university and the farmers who have innovated in farming will be honored.
Apart from this, a religious and cultural program titled Bharat Ke Rang Ekal Ke Sang will be organized by Vanvasi Parishad from 7 pm onwards. Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University was established on 19 August 2008. Since then, the foundation day is being celebrated on 19 August every year, but this time due to the festival of Raksha Bandhan on 19 August, this day is being celebrated on 20 August. University Registrar Anil Saxena and others were present in the meeting.
