Gwalior: Special campaign continues against illegal excavation, transportation and storage

Gwalior, 7 April (HS). A special campaign of the district administration is going on against illegal excavation, transportation and storage of minerals in the district. In this series, a JCB machine and a tractor involved in illegal excavation and transportation of sand were seized by the district administration team near village Palaichha of Bhitarwar tehsil on Sunday.

Bhitarwar Sub-Divisional Magistrate DN Singh said that after receiving information about illegal excavation of sand near Palaichha, the Revenue Department team along with the police force reached the spot. The team seized the JCB and tractor trolley and took it to Belgarh police station. This action was carried out by revenue and police officers and employees including Tehsildar Dheeraj Singh Parihar and Naib Tehsildar Rakesh Kumar.
