Gwalior: Scrutiny of documents of all polling stations in the district

Gwalior, 8 May (HS). Under the Lok Sabha election programme, the voting process adopted in the polling stations in the district on May 7 and the documents related to voting were scrutinized on Wednesday. The scrutiny proceedings were conducted by Collector and Returning Officer Ruchika Chauhan and concerned ARO in the presence of assembly constituency wise observer Krishna Aditya and candidates and their representatives in the administrative building of MLB College here.

The scrutiny process was completed under the guidelines of the Election Commission of India. In which especially Form 17 “A”, ballot paper account, diary of the presiding officer and other documents were scrutinized. Scrutiny has found that voting was conducted as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India at all the polling stations in the district. Therefore, there is no need for re-poll in any polling station in the district.

Before the start of scrutiny, the candidates contesting from Gwalior Lok Sabha constituency and their representatives, along with Collector and District Election Officer Ruchika Chauhan, along with the district election officials related to the election system, to conduct the voting in a free, fair, well-organized, smooth and peaceful manner in Gwalior district. Thanks were given to the officials of the office and district administration. Also openly praised the election process. Everyone said that better arrangements had been made at the polling stations in the district. Also, due to the voter awareness campaign conducted under the SVEEP, there has been a big increase in the voting percentage in the district.

During the scrutiny, Additional Collector TN Singh, Deputy District Election Officer Sanjeev Jain, ARO Gwalior Rural Assembly Constituency Suryakant Tripathi, ARO Gwalior Atul Singh, ARO Gwalior East Vinod Singh, ARO Gwalior South Narendra Babu Yadav, ARO Bhitarwar DN Singh and ARO Dabra Assembly Constituency. Divyanshu Choudhary placed the documents of the polling stations of his respective area before the scrutiny.
