Gwalior: Madmen set fire to cars and Activa parked on the roadside

Gwalior, 07 April (Hindustan Reporter). Once again the miscreants set fire to cars parked on the roadside and a two-wheeler. All four vehicles were gutted in the fire. When people noticed it in the morning, they informed the police about the incident. Police and fire brigade reached the spot but by the time the cars were burnt to ashes. Cars were set on fire late at night. Police have intensified efforts to identify the person who set the fire from the footage.

People living along Hospital Road were shocked when the vehicles kept outside their houses were targeted by the madmen late at night. The miscreants set on fire three cars and a two-wheeler parked on the roadside. All four vehicles were gutted in the fire. No one came to know about the incident till late night. When people came out on the streets in the morning, they saw burnt cars and informed the police. It is reported that a day earlier also some madman had set the car on fire but the fire was extinguished in time. Once again, as soon as information was received about vehicles being set on fire on the night of Saturday-Sunday, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. Police have started using CCTV to identify those people who cause loss worth lakhs of rupees by setting cars on fire at night. At present the people who set the fire have not been identified. Kotwali police station has intensified the search for the criminals. Let us tell you that the madmen had created a sensation by burning more than a dozen cars in Ashok Colony, Thatipur. Now such incidents are increasing in the city.
