Gwalior: Legal literacy camp organized at CM Rise Government Padmaraje Girls School

Gwalior, June 29 (HS). Under the “Children Friendly Legal Services and Their Protection Scheme”, on the instructions of Principal District Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority Gwalior PC Gupta, a legal literacy camp was organized at CM Rise Government Padmaraje Girls Higher Secondary School, Kampu on Saturday. In the legal literacy camp, District Judge Shyam Sundar Jha gave information about Protection from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act), good touch and bad touch, toll free numbers 1090 and 1098 for women and children.

In the legal literacy camp, District Judge and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ashish Dwande explained the fundamental rights and fundamental duties to the school children in detail. Also, Civil Judge Senior Section Tapan Dharga explained in detail about the practical provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act, cyber crime and careful use of mobile phones.

In the camp, District Legal Aid Officer Deepak Sharma gave information about free legal aid, guidelines given by the Supreme Court regarding hit and run cases and NALSA toll free number 15100. The school's in-charge Principal Reena Agarwal presided over the camp and appealed to the children to preserve the information received in the legal literacy camp in their lives and take advantage of it.

The program was conducted by Maya Bhelsewale. On this occasion, senior teachers Narottam Garg, Preetibala Lachauriya, Rajni Sharma and Nidhi Sharma along with other students of the school were present.
