Gwalior, 22 February (HS). A horrific road accident took place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh late on Wednesday night. Here, a speeding bus and a tractor loaded with laborers collided head-on in front of the Triple ITM Institute between Hazira-Old Cantonment of Gwalior. About sixteen people, including laborers and bus passengers, were injured in the accident. The condition of two of the injured is said to be serious. After the information, the police reached the spot and admitted all the injured to the hospital for treatment. According to the passengers traveling in the bus, the accident happened due to the negligence of the bus driver. At present the police is busy investigating the matter.
According to the information, the accident took place on Mallagadha Road in front of Triple ITM near Jalalpur under Old Cantonment Police Station area. Here a bus full of passengers was coming from Morena towards Gwalior. Whereas the tractor was going towards Morena carrying the laborers who had alighted from the train at Gwalior railway station. During this, both the vehicles collided head-on near Mallagadha Road. The bus overturned after the collision. There was an outcry on the spot. Passersby immediately informed the police.
As soon as the information was received, CSP Maharajpura Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, Old Cantonment police station in-charge Vinay Singh Tomar reached with the force. With the help of the people, the police rescued the people and laborers trapped in the bus and took them to the hospital. Due to the large number of injured, some of the injured have been referred to District Hospital Murar, Hazira Civil Hospital and Trauma Centre. The injured include twelve laborers and four passengers.
The injured included Harju Batham resident of Jhansi, Ramkumar resident of Lalitpur, Ramkishan resident of Jhansi, Ramadevi resident of Jhansi, Rajkumari resident of Jhansi, Moolchandra resident of Jhansi, Kalicharan resident of Dharmapura Niwari, Guddi Devi resident of Dharmapura, Pooja resident of Jhansi, Chandu alias Chandrabhan resident of Jhansi, Durgprasad resident of Jhansi. , Rohit resident of Jhansi, Pradeep Gurjar, Jaswant, Pradeep and Ranveer. Bus passengers said that the accident happened due to the negligence of the bus driver. He was driving the bus at high speed. Didn't slow down even at the turn. This led to this accident.
Additional SP Siyaz KM said that the injured in the accident are being treated. No picture of any casualty has been revealed. SDM Atul Singh, who reached the same hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured, says that instructions have been given to ensure that the injured get better treatment.
