Along with this, other requirements required to keep the records organized will also be fulfilled. Collector Ruchika Chauhan has given these instructions in the meeting of revenue officers on Sunday.
Revenue cases, court cases and recovery of dues of various banks were also reviewed in the meeting room of the Collectorate office. Additional Collector Anju Arun Kumar, ADM TN Singh, all sub-divisional officers Revenue, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Collector Ruchika Chauhan said that revenue records are the most important documents. To keep this organized, CCTV cameras should be installed to monitor the record room established in the District Collectorate office from Gorakhi office. To ensure that records are maintained systematically, the need for shelves etc. should also be completed quickly. Along with this, he also gave instructions to present the government's case timely and strongly in the ongoing revenue related cases in various courts.
During the review of the court cases, the Collector directed that all the officers in charge should ensure that timely and systematic answers are presented in the court in the court cases, for this the revenue officers should also study the cases themselves and under the guidance of senior officers, the government's side would be presented. Keep in court. He also directed that all the revenue officers should keep updated information regarding the cases going on in the court and also give this information to the senior officers from time to time.
He also directed to give priority to the recovery work done by the revenue officers through RRC for the recovery of various banks. He has also directed that the revenue officers should study the instructions and rules issued from time to time from the government level and ensure their compliance. In the meeting, necessary guidelines were given after reviewing the cases of the officer-in-charge appointed for revenue cases in the court.
Revenue matters should be resolved promptly
Collector Ruchika Chauhan directed the revenue officers to ensure that revenue cases are resolved within the time limit. The pending cases of transfer, demarcation and partition should be resolved. Instructions were also given to the revenue officers to ensure that the Girdawari work is done on time.
The Collector directed all the sub-divisional revenue officers to review the revenue collection in their respective areas. The recovery work should be ensured by giving targets to the revenue staff in the recovery work. Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in the work of revenue collection. If negligence is found, punitive action will be taken against the concerned officers.
