He said this during a meeting with officials of Health Department and GMDA Department at PWD Rest House located in Civil Lines on Tuesday. Aarti Singh Rao, after taking oath as a cabinet minister in the Haryana government, reached Gurugram for the first time on Tuesday to take a meeting with the officials of the health department. During this, Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma and Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary were also present with him.
Seven storey medical college will have 883 beds
In the meeting, GMDA CEO A Srinivas, while sharing information about the progress related to the construction work of Shrimata Shitala Devi Medical College in Sector-102A, said that the construction work of this medical college, which is being built at a cost of about Rs 541 crore, is almost complete. Already happened. Finishing work is also going on parallelly in the Medical College. He told that this medical college with a facility of 883 beds will have 7 floors including the ground floor. GMDA will share 50 percent of the construction cost, Municipal Corporation will share 45 percent and Shri Shitala Mata Temple will share 5 percent.
The work of the medical college will be completed by 30 April 2025.
He informed that the construction work of the medical college will be completed by April 30 next year. In the meeting, Civil Surgeon Dr. Virendra Yadav, while giving information regarding the progress of construction of the civil hospital to be built in Civil Lines, said that the tender was floated on August 16 for this civil hospital to be built at a cost of about Rs 990 crore. Which will open on 8th of next month. He told that this 13-storey hospital will have 11 storeys including 2 basements, a ground floor. Important facilities like 60 ICU, 12 OT along with helipad for emergencies have also been taken care of in the hospital. After the meeting, the Health Minister also inspected the construction work of Civil Hospital and Shrimata Shitala Devi Medical College. HSVP Administrator Renu Sogan, Deputy CMO Dr. Neelima, Dr. Jaiprakash, Dr. Keshav, Dr. Priya Sharma, GMDA's XEN Vikas Malik, PWD's XEN Charanjit Rana and other officers were present in the meeting.
