Gurugram: Government should immediately lift the ban on teacher recruitment in state universities: ABVP

Gurugram, August 5 (HS). Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has said that in the last 10 years in Haryana, teacher recruitment in the field of education has been pending. In this decade, the construction process of universities and colleges is hanging in balance. Due to which anger is visible on the ground in the education world. Haryana government needs to pay attention to this.

Metropolitan Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Arpit Mittal, said on Monday that the Haryana Higher Education Department's decision to immediately stop all types of ongoing recruitment process in all universities of Haryana on 20 July 2024 is a big negative decision of the Haryana government in the field of education. This decision should be withdrawn immediately.

In this regard, Jyotiraditya Dagar, State Private University Coordinator, Pavitra Gupta Dronacharya Nagar Co-minister, Lavish Sahrawat Dronacharya Nagar Co-minister from All India Council submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Gurugram. District Coordinator Aman Lekhraj said that UGC has continuously issued notifications to all universities to fill the vacant posts, but the Haryana government has failed to recruit in the tenure of 10 years. Looking at the notification issued by the Education Department last day, it seems that there is a need to change the plan of the Haryana government for the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. For the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, it is very important to recruit teachers in all universities and colleges. At present, the immediate ban on recruitments of all universities in the notification number issued is a wrong decision in the interest of the students. Keeping in mind the student interests and keeping the suggestions of students, teachers and educationists before the government, ABVP Haryana has demanded from the government that the notification issued keeping in mind the above points should be withdrawn with immediate effect. Recruitment in universities should be restarted. If the state government does not take a positive decision in this matter, then ABVP Haryana will oppose it keeping in mind the student interests in the entire state.
