There is a lot of anger in the Gurjar community due to the suspension of District Information and Public Relations Officer Atma Ram Kasana after CM Naib Saini's Pragati Rally on 25 July in Anaj Mandi. Regarding this, hundreds of people of the Gurjar community reached the Mini Secretariat on Monday and handed over a memorandum to the ADC demanding immediate reinstatement of DPRO Atma Ram. Also, the people of the community warned that if Atma Ram is not reinstated immediately, the people of the community will take to the streets and go on a hunger strike.
Officers of Gurjar community organizations from Hisar, Hansi, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Gurugram and many other cities reached Fatehabad on Monday. Guddu Fauji, Leela Ram, Chanan Singh, Krishna Murti, Sher Singh, Subhash Chawda etc. who came to submit the memorandum said that DPRO Atma Ram Kasana has been working with full honesty without any blemish for 29 and a half years. Now only 6 months were left for his retirement. He was promoted four times for doing good work. If he had made such mistakes, he would not have reached here. These people said that an attempt is being made to target DPRO Atma Ram politically. They said that if there was any mistake in the speech of the CM, then it was not only because of Atma Ram. There are officers above him also, to whom the file of the speech of the CM went. If the file was okayed by them, then they should also be punished.
He demanded a fair inquiry into the matter and his reinstatement. Let us tell you that CM Naib Singh Saini addressed the Pragati Rally in Fatehabad Anaj Mandi on 25th July.
