Materials for making pool filling
- 1 cup Bengal gram lentils,
- 3 cups water,
- 1 cup sugar,
- 1 tsp cardamom powder,
- nutmeg husk,
- 2 cups of refined flour,
- 1 tsp salt,
- 2 tablespoons ghee,
how to make a fill pool
- Wash chana dal with water and cook it in a pressure cooker till 3 to 4 whistles.
- When it cools down, grind it in a pan and make mash.
- Add sugar, ground nutmeg and cardamom powder and cook over low flame.
- Keep stirring the set on low flame where allow the mixture to cool after drying.
- Take refined flour in a bowl and add salt and ghee to it and mix.
- Then add water to it and make a perfect dough and cover it with a cloth and keep it aside for some time.
- After 30 minutes, prepare a papdi from this dough and fill it with lentil stuffing and knead it like bread.
- Then heat a frying pan and fry it by applying ghee on both sides. Your filling poli dish is ready. You can serve it with ghee and pickle.
