Gujarat Weather: There is news of partial relief from the scorching heat in Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has indicated that the temperature will drop by 2 to 3 degrees in the coming days and the monsoon will arrive early.

According to the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature in Gujarat on Tuesday was recorded in Ahmedabad at 45.2 degrees. Apart from this, 44.4 degrees were recorded in Bhavnagar, 44.5 degrees in Gandhinagar, 43.3 degrees in Surendranagar. The mercury remained around 40 degrees in most parts of the state.

According to the weather department forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to be 42 degrees in districts including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surendranagar, 41 degrees in Sabarkantha, Patan, Mehsana, Bhavnagar districts and 40 degrees in districts including Rajkot, Kutch, Anand.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a partial decrease in heat in the next 3 days. Today, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 25-30 km per hour in Kutch-Saurashtra and the Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli. Due to which people can get relief from the heat. Fishermen have been advised not to go sailing in the sea.

The Indian Meteorological Department has made a big announcement regarding the monsoon and said that the monsoon will hit the coast of Kerala on May 31. After this, it can move forward and reach Maharashtra between June 8 and 10 and Gujarat between June 12 and 15. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a 106 percent chance of rain in the country this year. Gujarat is also expected to receive more than normal rainfall.

According to weather expert Ambalal Patel, there will be rain with thunder in South Gujarat from May 31 to June 4. Rain is expected in Ahwa, Dang, Surat, parts of Saurashtra. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in North Gujarat, parts of Central Gujarat and parts of Kutch. According to Ambalal Patel, there will be pre-monsoon activity till June 4, after which there will be monsoon rain from June 7 to 14.
