Weather of Gujarat: According to the forecast given by the Meteorological Department, sporadic rain has started in many parts of Kutch and Saurashtra and North Gujarat since Saturday morning.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in North and Central Gujarat as well as Kutch and Saurashtra. Due to cyclonic circulation, the effect of monsoon is being seen in Gujarat.
The weather has changed in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar due to the forecast of unseasonal rain. There were rain showers in the morning in Gota of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Dwarka also received unseasonal rain with thunderstorms in the early morning.
Apart from this, light rain has been reported in Deodar, Kankerge village, Suigam, Tharad, Vav, Dhanera sub-divisions of Banaskantha. Besides, there has been rain and thunder in Gandhidham of Kutch also. There was sudden rain with strong wind late night in Ghogha Panthak of Bhavnagar.
Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has given yellow alert in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Patan, Aravali of North Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Dahod of Central Gujarat. Also, yellow alert has been given in Morbi, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Botad, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Kutch of Saurashtra.
