Gujarat swimmer Aryan Nehra won silver medal in 800 meter freestyle

In the 11th Asian Age Group Aquatic Championship, Gujarat's talented swimmer Aryan Nehra performed brilliantly and won the silver medal in 800 meter freestyle of 18 and open age category with a timing of eight minutes and 03.26 seconds. Aryan, who has many records in his name at the national level, has won an international medal for the first time in his career. Among other Indian swimmers, Srihari Nataraj won gold in 50m backstroke with a timing of 25.76 seconds and Kushagra Rawat won bronze in 800m freestyle with a timing of 8:08.62 seconds. Gujarat's experienced female swimmer Mana Patel finished fifth in 50 meter back stroke with a timing of 29.99 seconds. India managed to win the silver medal in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay with a timing of 3 minutes 26.19 seconds.
