To promote natural farming, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Haryana are organizing a workshop on the Natural Farming Dialogue program at the Indira Gandhi Auditorium of the University on August 11 at 9 am. In the workshop, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat will be the chief guest and will interact and review natural farming with the farmers.
Dr. Rajbir Singh, Deputy Director of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, held a meeting of officials on Friday to make the workshop on natural farming a success. He said that all the officials of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Horticulture Department, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sadalpur etc. will also participate in the program along with about 1200 farmers. The Deputy Director said that natural farming is the best method to save the land from the damage caused by chemical farming, through which not only the land can be saved from chemicals but the fertilizer power can also be increased. Water and environment are also not polluted by natural farming. Along with this, grains, pulses and other crops produced by natural farming are very beneficial for our body. For this, the Agriculture Department is motivating farmers to adopt natural farming, so that the income of the farmers can increase and the fertility of the land can also be increased. The department also provides financial assistance to the farmers who adopt natural farming. He said that in the workshop, farmers will be able to set up stalls of various types of food items produced from natural farming. During the meeting, all the block/section level officers of Hisar district including Dr. Somprakash, Dr. Arun Yadav, Dr. Shamsher Dhul, Dr. Naveen Rathi, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Garima Dahiya, Virendra Kumar were also present.
