Gujarat government will pay October salaries in advance in view of Diwali.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has ensured that the state government employees and retired pensioners can celebrate the Diwali festival with joy and gaiety; An important decision has been taken for this. This year, in view of Diwali, advance payment of salaries to employees and pension amount to pensioners will be made.

According to the guidelines given by Chief Minister Patel to the Finance Department in this regard, advance payment of salary and pension for the month of October to the state government employees and pensioners will be made between October 23 and 25. Responding positively to the presentations and demands made in this regard by various employee boards, associations and leaders, the Chief Minister has decided to make advance payment of salary and pension for October 2024.
