Khunti, March 11 (Hindustan Reporter) A meeting with the enforcement agencies was organized on Monday in the auditorium of the Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra. In the meeting held in view of the impending Lok Sabha elections, necessary directions were given to the enforcement agencies to conduct fear-free, peaceful and fair elections.
DC directed to make the established check posts functional and run intensive vehicle checking campaign. It was directed that every officer will work in coordination with the police station in-charge, sub-divisional police officer, superintendent of police level officials. The Deputy Commissioner directed that by identifying the wanted liquor traders and liquor smuggling routes, they will ensure action against the persons involved in the excise and liquor prohibition cases.
