This hackathon will run for 45 days from the start of registration to the last date for submitting the developed prototype. The total prize money for this is Rs 50 lakh.
The Finance Ministry said in a statement issued on Friday that the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) is organizing the GST Analytics Hackathon, an initiative to promote innovation in tax compliance through predictive analytics. In this, Indian students, researchers, startups and corporate professionals have been invited to develop predictive models of the GST analytics framework.
According to the ministry, this hackathon will run for 45 days from the start of registration to the last date of submission of developed prototypes. The total prize money for this is Rs 50 lakh, which includes first prize of Rs 25 lakh, second prize of Rs 12 lakh, third prize of Rs 7 lakh and consolation prize of Rs 1 lakh. The best performing all-women team will be given a special prize of Rs 5 lakh.
