Jhansi, June 26 (HS). On complaints of discrepancy in purchase forms and stock of goods, the GST team raided the establishments of three iron sellers located at Auntia Talab on Wednesday evening. Their forms and the goods kept in their stock were matched. On finding irregularities, the operators were called to the GST office and asked for their explanation. Action will be taken against them if they are unable to present it.
The GST team along with the police force reached the warehouses and shops of iron traders Garg Steel, Bahubali and Amit Traders located at Auntia Talab. The team conducted an investigation and took the documents of sale and purchase into its custody. During this raid, other iron traders were in a panic.
The GST team official said that a complaint was received about irregularities in purchase and paperwork. The team has investigated this and found some deficiencies. Everyone will be asked to appear in the office on Thursday and give their reply. Departmental action will be taken if a satisfactory reply is not received.
