Grievance redressal workshop organized in DIC Kathua

Kathua 15 May (Hindustan Reporter) District Industries Center Kathua in collaboration with Project Implementation Unit Jammu organized a Grievance Redressal Workshop dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of the new Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Industrial Development in Jammu and Kashmir.

The workshop held at the Conference Hall of Common Facility Center SICOP Govindsar Kathua witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 15 investors representing Kathua region. Its primary objective was to streamline the process of filing claims under the NCSS framework, address the prevalent information gaps and resolve grievances faced by investors. The participants engaged in interactive sessions where they received comprehensive information on the procedures for filing a claim including eligibility criteria, documentation requirements and timelines. This ensured deeper understanding among stakeholders, promoting transparency and clarity within the NCSS framework.

Further the workshop provided a platform for investors to raise their concerns directly to the officials of DIC Kathua and PIU Jammu, facilitating clarification and resolution in real time. Such proactive grievance redressal initiatives not only promote transparency but also create a conducive environment for industrial growth and investment in the region. The meeting emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging the information gap and building confidence between the government and the investor community. This collaborative effort underlines the commitment of DIC Kathua and PIU Jammu to nurture an ecosystem conducive to industrial growth in Jammu and Kashmir. Relevantly, such workshops are being organized to ensure efficient implementation and uptake of NCSS for industrial development in Jammu and Kashmir. It is also in line with the government's vision to promote sustainable economic growth and boost employment creation in the region.
