What did Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz say?
Meanwhile, senior Punjab minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed willingness to cooperate with Indian Punjab in tackling pollution and stressed that the issue is humanitarian rather than political. I am thinking of writing a letter to the CM of Punjab, India that this is a humanitarian issue, not a political issue, on which we are also taking action. The wind does not know that there is a line in between. Unless both Punjabs take joint steps for the welfare of both the parties, the situation will not improve.
