According to Greek media reports, the two countries will for the first time discuss cooperation on various issues ranging from joint military exercises of the army, navy and air force as well as special forces. Also, the two countries are likely to sign a joint agreement on technology, innovation and training of troops.
Besides, cooperation between India and Greece is also increasing. The armies of both the countries have started joint military exercises in each other's country. Now the Army Chief of Greece is on a visit to India.
General Dimitrios will meet his Indian counterpart Anil Chauhan and other officials and discuss security issues including Greece's naval partnership with India in Operation Red Sea and the Ukraine war.
Recently, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis also visited India and before that PM Modi also visited Greece. Both the countries are also supporting each other on important issues.
When relations between Greece and Turkey are bad on the issue of Cyprus, India has given a message to Turkey by supporting Greece that if Turkey continues to support Pakistan then India can also adopt the same policy.
