IT sector company Tech Mahindra is going to recruit 6000 freshers this year i.e. in the financial year 2025. The company gave this information on 25 April. At a time when most companies are downsizing and shying away from making new appointments, Tech Mahindra has decided to make new appointments. Tech Mahindra reduced its total headcount by 795 in the fourth quarter ended March 31. At the same time, in the financial year 2024, the number of employees of the company has decreased by 6945.
This is the second financial year for the IT company when it has recorded a decline in its employee base throughout the year. Earlier, the company had reported a decline in headcount for the full year FY2018. Apart from Tech Mahindra, only TCS has so far said it plans to hire around 40,000 freshers in FY2025.
