News India Live, Digital Desk: If you too were in fear that “the Municipal Corporation might use a bulldozer” or “it might impose a heavy fine”, then take a deep breath and relax. Deputy Chief Minister (Deputy CM) and Urban Development Minister of Bihar Vijay Kumar Sinha has given a statement which has brought a smile on the faces of home owners and small builders.
What has the Deputy CM said?
Vijay Sinha has said in clear words that if someone has followed the building manual while constructing a house, Minor Violation If it has been done, then the government is going to find a way to regularize it.
To understand in simple language, if there is a slight flaw in your map (which is not very serious or dangerous), then instead of breaking it, it will be passed by charging some penalty or mitigation fee. The government’s aim is to “settle, not oppress” the people.
All facilities will be online
The Deputy CM also said that now the times of visiting offices and paying bribes to get the map passed are over. the whole process transparent and online Is being done.
- How much fee will be charged for passing the map, all this will be visible online.
- The arbitrariness of officers (Inspectors’ rule) will be ended.
- The time limit will be fixed in how many days the map will have to be passed.
Why was this decision taken?
Vijay Sinha says that cities are growing and so are the needs of the people. Due to fear of strict rules, people used to do illegal construction. Now by making the rules a little flexible, the government wants people to stay within the legal ambit and build their houses without fear.
So if your or someone you know’s matter is stuck somewhere, now is the right time to resolve it. This step of Bihar government is really welcome!
