Iran Hijab Law News: A huge fire is burning across the country against the fundamentalist Islamic government of Iran. Artists and writers have come to the forefront in this. Among them, a famous singer named Parastu openly challenged the Islamic-fundamentalist government in a video message, saying, “I am Parastu, I am the girl who cannot remain silent. Who refuses to stop singing for his country.”

However, this Iranian singer has found it difficult to perform in an online concert without wearing hijab. A case has been registered against him. The court said that strict action will be taken against him. The court termed Parastu’s performance as a violation of legal and religious norms. It is noteworthy that recently an order was issued in Iran that the woman who goes out in public places without hijab will be given strict punishment like death.

Parastu Ahmadi “streamed” the concert on his YouTube channel late on Wednesday night. Apart from wearing a headscarf, she performed wearing a long flowing dress. This performance was shot without an audience. Before the start of this concert, he said in a message on YouTube video, “I am Parastu.” I am the girl who cannot remain silent. Who refuses to stop singing for the country. Hear my voice in an imaginary concert and dream of a free and beautiful nation.”

In one of his songs, there was a clear reference to the protests that broke out across the country after the death of Mahsa Amini in police custody. Meanwhile, Iran’s court Mizan online news website said: “The court intervened”, and took appropriate action. A legal case has been registered against the singer and her production staff.

According to rules implemented after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, women must cover their bodies with hijab in public places. Also, according to that law, they are not allowed to sing in public places.
