Jind, July 16 (HS). Soon the city is going to get the gift of three development projects worth several crores. Out of the three projects, the amount for one project was released during the tenure of the Congress government. Which was brought to the notice of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal by MLA Dr. Krishna Middha. These three projects have received approval from the government on Tuesday.

Regarding the projects, MLA Dr. Krishna Middha met the Director General of Urban Local Bodies Department Yashpal Yadav and requested him to give approval for all three works. Director General of Urban Local Bodies Department Yashpal Yadav assured the MLA that all three projects will be completed as soon as possible. The MLA said that lights will be installed on both sides from Kandela Bridge to Delhi-Bhatinda Railway Line Bridge (RD 189000-199000) at a cost of Rs 5 crore 94 lakh. He said that similarly, lanes will be constructed from Julani Road to Narwana Road via Chandralok Colony, Shivpuri Colony, Sundar Nagar Basti at a cost of Rs 1 crore 11 lakh. At the same time, the lane from Rambir Singh Colony Government School to Julani Minor via Sundar Nagar will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 21 lakh. Dr. Middha said that all three works have been approved on Tuesday and tenders for these works will also be issued in the next one or two days.

MLA Dr. Krishna Middha said that five crore rupees were received during the tenure of the Congress government for the construction of Julani Minor track, but this money was not used. With the interest on it, this amount has reached seven crores. This amount came to his notice in a monthly meeting with the officials. On this, he immediately talked to former Chief Minister Manohar Lal. He had said to send a proposal for the use of this amount. The proposal was passed and sent to him. Now this amount will be used in the development work of Jind. MLA Dr. Krishna Middha said that he is leaving no stone unturned for the development of Jind. Soon all three projects will start and people will benefit.
