Saharsa/Supaul, February 20 (HS). Under the joint aegis of Shri Shyam Parivar and Shri Shyam Narayani Parivar, a grand Nishan Shobha Yatra was taken out in the city on Tuesday. The two-day Phalgunotsav started with the Nishan Shobha Yatra. A crowd of Shyam devotees including women, men and children gathered in the Nishan Yatra.
Haare Ka Sahara Khatu Shyam Hamara Jayakare with Nishan Shobha Yatra was taken out from Radhakrishna Thakurwadi, which returned from Hussain Chowk via Lohia Chowk, Station Chowk, Mahavir Chowk and toured the city and ended at Radha Krishna Thakurwadi, the main event venue. The tableau was decorated with flower garlands. Devotees in colorful clothes were walking with big flags in their hands.
Nishan Yatra was welcomed with flowers at various places in the city. The tableau of Bahubali Hanuman, Radha-Krishna and Ramlala was the center of attraction in the yatra. During the Shyam Basant Mahotsav, cultural programs along with bhajan evening were also organized at the local Radha Krishna Thakurbari on Tuesday. Bhandara Prasad will be distributed along with Savmani and Chhappan Bhog on Wednesday. The Nishan Yatra taken out by Marwari community from Shri Radha Krishna Thakurwadi complex was welcomed at many places. The local administration also remained fully prepared regarding the Nishan Yatra.
