Akhnoor, 16 December (Hindustan Reporter). To commemorate the 62nd foundation day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a grand program was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya Jyodian on Monday. The students of the school presented a cultural program and made the function full of joy.
At the function, Principal of the school, Dr. Harish Kumar, while highlighting the historical journey of the organization, said that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan started in 1963 and currently it is providing education through 1,256 schools in India. It also includes three schools abroad which provide quality education to the children of Indian Embassy employees and overseas Indians.
The Principal informed that the main objective of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is to provide uniform and quality education to the children of transferable government employees especially defense and paramilitary forces personnel. Apart from this, the organization also plays an important role in innovation in the education sector, feeling of national unity and development of Indian culture.
During the program it was also told that at present the Government of India has announced the opening of 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas which will give more impetus to the achievements of the organization in the field of education. On this occasion, the school management and students respectfully remembered all the objectives and achievements of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
