Lohardaga, September 2 (HS). In Lohardaga, the festival of Rani Sati Dadi Ji was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety on Bhado Badi Amavasya. A grand court of Shri Rani Sati Dadi Ji was decorated and Dadi Ji was adorned with divine ornaments and offered various kinds of delicacies. From three o'clock in the afternoon to four hours, 101 women of the Marwari community, wearing their Rajasthani costumes, recited Mangala and sang Dadi Ji's charming bhajans.
They danced and swayed after tying grandmother's scarf around each other's neck, the whole atmosphere was filled with devotion because of this devotional program, women shared Suhaag Pitari items etc. with each other and Prasad was distributed.
