GPS service stopped in Israel after Mossad warned of Iran missile attack

Iran has threatened to retaliate after Israel's air strike on the Iranian Consulate in Syria, which has left the entire world holding its breath. If Iran retaliates, clouds of war may loom over the Gulf countries of the Middle East.

America has also warned Israel that Iran may retaliate and now Israel's spy agency Mossad has also provided the same information to its government. Mossad believes Iran could use long-range missiles or drones to attack Israel.

After the warning from Mossad, GPS services have been stopped at many important places in Israel. According to a media report, Israeli officials have claimed that we have special information that Iran will use ballistic missiles or cruise missiles or drones for the attack.

Israeli officials have also said that if Iran attacks Israel in any way from its soil, Israel will take strong action in response and it could lead to a bigger war than the ongoing war with Hamas. Israeli security forces are now on high alert and soldiers' leave has been cancelled.

One argument behind blocking GPS services is that it could harm the guidance systems of missiles. The missile's guidance system often takes the help of GPS to reach its target and based on that the missile detects the target and attacks directly.

For this reason, Israel has stopped GPS services in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and some parts of central Israel. Another monitoring website claims that GPS systems have been disabled throughout Israel.

An Israeli airstrike destroyed Iran's consulate in Syria and killed Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a top military commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guard. In total, seven Revolutionary Guard officers were killed. After this, Iran has said that Iran also has the right to take retaliatory action in response to this attack.
