Road accidents in Uttar Pradesh: A fatal road accident occurred on Thursday (October 10) near Bihra (Mirzamurad) on the Prayagraj-Varanasi highway in Uttar Pradesh. A speeding car rammed into a parked dumper. The couple traveling in the car, an elderly woman and another young woman died in the accident. According to reports, Deepak Pandey, a resident of Bajrang Nagar Colony, Manduadih, was returning home by car from Vindhyachal. On Thursday morning, near National Highway-19, his car collided with a dumper parked on the side of the highway. The speed of the car was so high that after the collision the dumper went about 100 meters away.
As soon as information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot. The bodies were recovered from the car. Of these, three died on the spot, while one died during treatment at the Trauma Center of BHU.
