Mandi, 9 August (HS). The Sukhu government of Himachal is snatching away all kinds of facilities from the people of the state. Whereas the Modi government at the center has opened its treasury for the development of Himachal. Talking to journalists in Mandi, former minister and BJP state vice president Govind Thakur said that the state government is continuously taking loans and is not providing facilities to the people, on the contrary, it is snatching away the facilities provided by the BJP government led by Jairam Thakur in the past.

He said that the Congress government of the state has taken a loan of 27 thousand crores so far. Govind Thakur said that the Him Care Yojana was started by the Jairam government. Under which 32 lakh cards have been made and 7 lakh 72 thousand people have been treated under this scheme. On which 988 crores rupees have been spent. Out of which 364 crores rupees are due to private hospitals. He said that many conditions have been imposed even in giving the guarantee of 1500 rupees to women. At the same time, by closing the Sahara Yojana, people have been left helpless.

Govind Thakur has strongly condemned the atrocities being committed against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Expressing condolences over the loss of life and property due to cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh, he said that the central government will help the disaster affected people as much as possible.

He said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took over the reins of the country, the Indian economy was at 11th place and today it is at 5th place. India will soon emerge as the fifth largest economy of the world. He said that the central government has increased the limit of Mudra loan from 10 lakh to 20 lakhs, which will help new entrepreneurs and youth to set up small scale industries. 20 lakh youth will be given skill training in a period of 5 years and 1000 ITI will be upgraded. Loans up to Rs 7.5 lakh with the guarantee of government enhanced fund will help 25,000 students every year. A provision of Rs 1.5 lakh crore has been made as long term interest free loan to the states to aid resource allocation.

Himachal to benefit from new employment

Govind Thakur said that all those who get employment for the first time in the formal sector will get Rs 15,000 from the government in 3 installments. 2 crore 10 lakh youth will benefit from this. Plan to provide internship opportunities in top 500 companies to one crore youth in a period of 5 years. Allowance of Rs 5,000 per month and one-time assistance of Rs 6,000 through CSR funds. 80 percent of Himachal's people live in rural areas and are associated with agriculture. 109 new high-yielding and climate-friendly varieties of 32 agricultural and horticultural crops will be released for the farming of farmers.

Himachal's roads will be improved with thousands of crores

State BJP Vice President and former Minister Govind Thakur said that the Central Government has been kind to Himachal Pradesh and has made provision for roads worth thousands of crores of rupees here today. Pathankot-Mandi Rs 10067 crore, Mataur-Shimla Rs 10512 crore, Kiratpur-Mandi-Kullu-Manali four lane Rs 13784 crore, Pinjore-Baddi-Nalagarh Rs 1692 crore, Parwanoo-Solan-Kaithlighat-Shimla Rs 7632 crore have been provisioned. An additional amount of Rs 2700 crore is going to come in the first phase of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. Rs 1782 crore has been given as immediate relief for disaster relief. The Center has given Rs 1100 crore for MNREGA and 11 thousand houses. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced special financial assistance in the annual budget of 2024-25 to compensate for the loss caused by the natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh last year.

This much will be spent for the tunnel in Himachal

Former minister Govind Thakur said that 5 tunnels in Pathankot-Mandi will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2472 crore, 3 tunnels in Mataur-Shimla will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1747 crore, 4 tunnels in Kiratpur-Mandi-Kullu-Manali will be constructed at a cost of Rs 5632 crore, 4 tunnels in Parwanoo-Solan-Kaithlighat-Shimla will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1231 crore.
