Governor released the book “Modialog” based on “Mann Ki Baat”

Lucknow, 16 November (HS). Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel released the book “Modialog” written by Dr. Ashwin Fernandes at a program organized at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. The book is based on 100 episodes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular radio program “Mann Ki Baat”. On this occasion, the Governor honored 18 universities of Uttar Pradesh which have secured positions in the QS Asia ranking.

On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the Vice Chancellors and their teams of 18 universities who achieved success in the QS Asia Rankings. He said that success requires interest and determination, and if both are there then no work is difficult. He appreciated the improvement efforts made by the universities behind this success.

Giving the example of the new campus of Nalanda University of Bihar, the Governor said that the land there has been properly utilized. Praising the foresight of the Government of India, he praised the use of solar energy and modern technology in the new campus built on the ancient ruins of Nalanda University. In this context, he advised the Vice Chancellors and officials of the University to visit the new campus of Nalanda University. The Governor called upon all present to utilize their talents properly.

Describing the process of communication with universities as important, the Governor said that the Vice Chancellors of the universities should establish active communication among themselves and implement corrective measures in their universities.

On this occasion, Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, author of Modilog book and Executive Director, Africa, QS Asia and World Ranking, introduced the QS organization. Expressing happiness over the ranking of 163 Indian universities among the 900 universities of the world in the QS Asia ranking, Dr. Fernandes said that 18 universities of Uttar Pradesh are also included in these. He also mentioned that 10 years ago no university of Uttar Pradesh could make it to this ranking, but today 06 state universities, 03 central universities, 02 IITs and 07 private universities of the state are included in this ranking.

Dr. Fernandes said that the ranking is important not only for the universities but also for the students, as it gives them an opportunity to compete at the global level. On this occasion he also discussed about his book “Modialog”. He also appreciated the work done under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
