Lucknow, 21 May (HS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath considers Ayurvedic medicines and its traditional knowledge important. In this direction, work should be carried forward in the state and research should be done in universities for medicine manufacturing. Make a list of different research works and universities should be linked to them. No single university or department can do this work. All medical departments and universities should be included in this. The medicinal knowledge of Uttar Pradesh is valuable and should lead the country in standard manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines.

A joint seminar of allopathic and ayurvedic doctors on the medicinal importance of Ayurvedic medicine Swarnprashan was held at Uttar Pradesh Raj Bhavan on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Governor Anandiben Patel. On this occasion, the Governor called the discussions held in the seminar an 'eye opener'. Looking at the case studies on the use and effect of Swarnaprashana medicine presented by Ayurveda and allopathic doctors in the seminar, the Governor said that effective work has been done in it.
Ayurvedic physician Dr. Abhay Narayan Tiwari gave a presentation on the health enhancing effects of Ayurvedic medicine 'Swarnaprashana', valuable health related knowledge of Indian Ayurvedic medical system and stressed the need for its propagation and promotion at the international level.
Swarnprashan effective medicine of Ayurveda
KGMU Vice Chancellor Dr. Sonia Nityanand said that 'Swarnaprashana' is definitely an effective medicine of Ayurveda, but before its universal use, it is important to determine the standards and quantity and also to know its side effects. He discussed the adequate research on this and the rules for international scheduling of the drug. Dr. Vikas Aggarwal of the Clinical Immunology Department of SPGI told about the positive effects of the research conducted in the blood of malnourished children with 'Swarnaprashan'.
Dr. Gaurav Pandey of SPGI said that gold therapy has been found to be very beneficial in hepatic Parkinson's. He shared studies conducted on 11 patients and said that its use has increased the ability to fight infection in liver cirrhosis.
