Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Champai Soren paid emotional tribute to Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his death anniversary on Sunday by offering flowers at the Birsa Munda Samadhi Sthal located in the Birsa Munda Memorial Garden and Museum Complex and at the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda located at Birsa Chowk.
Chief Minister Champai Soren told media persons that Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda fought against the British rule for the protection of water, forest and land. He fought for the rights, privileges and identity of the tribals and natives here. The CNT-SPT Act that has been made in the state is a gift of our ancestors, this law is a protective shield for the tribals and natives of the state. The Chief Minister said that on this day, all of us remember Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda with great heart and take inspiration from his ideals.
