Ranchi, June 26 (HS). Governor CP Radhakrishnan said that the overall development of all states is important for the development of the nation. He talked about such inclusive development in which the needs of every section and community are fulfilled. He was addressing the 44th Foundation Day celebrations of Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) on Wednesday.

The Governor said that due to population growth, the requirement of food grains is increasing and agricultural land is decreasing. Agricultural University has an important responsibility towards fulfilling the requirement of food grains. Its remarkable achievements should be appreciated. He said that he is happy that BAU is active in fulfilling the requirements of neighboring states as well. He also said that we should try to serve the community on a large scale. Everyone should do their work and be ready to make full contribution to the society.

The Governor said that our young generation is constantly touching the heights of success. They are making the nation proud by earning fame with their talent all over the world. The university is proud of this achievement of the youth. He said that those who do better work should be encouraged to provide better service through the progress of the institute. He congratulated the students for choosing this field and emphasized on better research. He also said that all universities should move forward towards achieving Developed India-2047 with new achievements.
