Varanasi, 17 October (Hindustan Reporter). Former minister of the state and MLA of City South, Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari inaugurated the mini tube well in Pitru Kund ward on Thursday. With the operation of this tube well, the problem of drinking water in about 200 houses in the area was solved. Every house will now have supply of pure drinking water.

On this occasion, MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari said that 80 small and big tube wells have been installed in the South Assembly since 2017, due to which today the residents of the area are getting pure water everywhere. He said that under the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the government's resolve is to ensure that every person has access to all the basic needs. Water is the basis of life. He said that before the year 2017, people were forced to agitate for water in Varanasi. Today, pure water is being supplied to everyone through many schemes. Apart from BJP Mandal President Gopal Gupta, Councilor Amresh Gupta, Councilor Sanjay Keshari, Councilor Manish Gupta, Councilor Shravan Gupta, Councilor Anantraj Gupta, Councilor Indresh Singh, senior citizens of the area were also present in the program.
