Government's new scheme, now drivers will get these facilities on the highway

Humsafar Policy for Highways: There are total 600 national highways in India. On which thousands of people travel every day. One has to face a lot of problems while traveling on the highway. Many times the health of drivers suddenly deteriorates. So sometimes such things become necessary. Which is very difficult to find on the way.

But now traveling on the highway will be like traveling in a city. Where you will definitely get all the facilities. For this, the Government of India has started Humsafar Policy. Under which now the drivers on the highway will get all the necessary facilities. This will make their journey easier. Let us tell you what is the new Humsafar policy of the government?

Passengers will get these facilities on the highway
Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari implemented Humsafar policy in India on 8 October. While implementing this, Nitin Gadkari said that its objective is to provide easy and safe travel to the people. Under this Humsafar policy, four types of services will be provided to drivers on the highways. In which there will be arrangements for restaurants, food courts and dhabas for eating and drinking.

There will also be fuel stations at appropriate distances. People will get facilities like toilet, baby care room in the fuel station. Along with this, a trauma center will also be established. Charging stations will also be installed on highways for commuters.

Now when traveling on the highway These facilities will be available only at a distance of 40-60 kilometers. Therefore, public facilities are generally available at a considerable distance. But now side facilities will be included under Humsafar policy. Which will be installed on the entire highway at a distance of 40-60 km.

Dhabas, restaurants and petrol pumps already existing on the highway have also been brought under the ambit of this Humsafar policy. With this new policy of the government, people will get a better environment for road travel. Along with this, this policy will also open doors for business and create new employment opportunities for the people.

These facilities are available in villages and towns
There used to be toilets and good food courts on the highways and city limits. But under this policy, now people traveling on the highway will be able to get all the facilities on the roads passing through villages and towns. People who will be given licenses to operate these facilities. The government will review and renew them every two years.
