Saharsa, 08 October (Hindustan Reporter). State President of Physical Teachers Association, Roshan Singh Dhoni strongly opposed the new transfer rules and said that it should be considered one of the policies detrimental to teachers.
Bihar government should bring such a transfer policy that instead of keeping the teachers in their home block, they transfer them to inter-block and not inter-sub-division. If we look at Saharsa district itself, there are 3 blocks in one sub-division and if there are 7 blocks in one sub-division, then what? Adjustment of teachers of a block can be done in three blocks. There are many districts where there is only one sub-division, what policy of inter-subdivision will be implemented there. There are many other types of errors in this. Especially among the teachers, those who are male teachers. No concession of any kind has been given to them. This means that the one who is healthy is eligible to suffer the punishment. Also, all the teachers should be included together in the transfer policy whether it is former BPSC teachers or present BPSC teachers or teachers who have passed literacy or teachers who have kept themselves away from literacy in the local body.
The decision to include only literacy passed teachers in the first phase is also flawed. The government has been postponing the transfer policy for the last one year in the name of software, whereas there is a rule of voluntary transfer under the planning rules. All these errors show that the government does not want teachers to be transferred.
transfer in this situation
A petition should be filed in the High Court on the rules and the transfer rules should be shelved for a long time. Therefore, we demand from the government to bring voluntary transfer rules for all categories of teachers. So that teachers can perform the work of teaching with their full capacity, near their homes in their respective blocks with a healthy mindset and there can be quality development in education.
