monsoon session: Six new bills, including amendments to the Disaster Management Act, will be introduced during the monsoon session of Parliament starting next week. The list of these bills was published in a bulletin issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Thursday evening. The monsoon session will run from July 22 to August 12.
Finance Minister will present the Union Budget on Tuesday
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget on Tuesday. Along with the Finance Bill, other bills listed include the Indian Aircraft Bill 2024, Boiler Bill, Coffee (Promotion and Development) Bill and Rubber (Promotion and Development) Bill. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has also constituted a Business Advisory Committee to decide the parliamentary agenda.
