Government schemes should reach the last eligible person with complete transparency: Chief Minister Say | News India

Raipur, September 12 (HS). The two-day Collector's Conference started today on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Chief Secretary, departmental secretaries, all divisional commissioners and collectors are present in this conference.

While addressing the officials, Chief Minister Sai said that the government schemes should reach the last eligible person with complete transparency. Mr. Sai said that work should be done keeping in mind the target of saturation in all flagship schemes. The Chief Minister told the collectors that local level problems should be resolved there itself; people should not have to come to the capital for small problems. Quick and effective steps should be taken on the public problems raised by the public representatives.

The Chief Minister expressed strong displeasure over the incidents of misbehavior with the general public and school students in some districts. Shri Sai has also given instructions regarding moderation in language. He said that if your officers lose restraint in language then take action, if you commit such a mistake then I will take action. The Chief Minister's stern attitude was visible during the review meeting of the Revenue Department in the Collector's Conference. Shri Sai expressed displeasure over the slow pace of revenue matters in Sarangarh, Bastar, Khairagarh. Along with this, he directed the collector to settle the revenue matters at a fast pace. The Chief Minister said that all revenue related works should be completed within the time limit. He sought information about undisputed and disputed transfer, division of accounts, demarcation, error correction, diversion, information of unsurveyed villages, map division. He also asked to complete the cases of undisputed transfer within the time limit. Shri Sai said that districts with less than 70 percent resolution should focus more. He directed that disputed division cases should not remain pending for more than 6 months. Shri Sai said that demarcation is a subject related to the public, the demarcation of the orders should be done. Citizens keep wandering for small errors. Ensure that it is resolved as soon as possible. The performance of the districts in diversion is good, resolution within the time limit builds the image of the government. Ensure that your subordinates reach the court on time. Commissioner should also keep monitoring.

The Chief Minister said that he has asked the Chief Secretary, departmental secretaries, all divisional commissioners and collectors to ensure that the government schemes reach the last eligible person with complete transparency. Work keeping in mind the target of saturation in all flagship schemes. In the last nine months, efforts have been made to improve the state as per the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but hard work is needed to realize the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.

In the review meeting of the administrative work and the ongoing development plans in the state, CM Vishnudev Sai issued guidelines to the collectors of the districts to monitor the development plans. It is believed that in the review to be held throughout the day, the Chief Minister will take feedback from each district and commissionerate.
