Government is also completely dedicated to CP children: Dr. VK Singh

Prayagraj, March 22 (HS). Holi Milan function of Trishala Foundation was celebrated with great pomp today at Colonelganj Inter College ground. In Trishala's special program “Holi Ke Rang Trishala Ke Sang”, children affected by Cerebral Palsy and their parents enjoyed the Holi played in Braj by blowing Abir-Gulal and had fun with songs and also presented colorful programs.

Chief guest in the program, District Panchayat President Dr. VK Singh said that this is the first time there has been an association with Trishala Foundation. It was a great pleasure to see the program of CP children. He said that the government is also working fully on cerebral palsy. He also said that elections have come and our elected public representatives will also work on this and take it forward. He also congratulated Dr. Jitendra Jain for the big hospital. In the end he blessed all the children and wished them a good future.

Secretary of the organization, Dr. Varidamala Jain said that it is the responsibility of the society to make the disabled people participate in the festivals. Organization President Dr Jitendra Kumar Jain informed the people about the upcoming schemes and the rapid progress in the work of CP Village. Highlighting the importance of this event, he said that such celebrations boost the morale of these children as well as their parents.

Foreign guests from Bangladesh, Nepal, Ghana and South Africa who came for treatment at Trishala Foundation also enjoyed the colors of Holi in this function. In the function, the parents along with the children also had a lot of fun on the traditional songs of Holi. In an environment decorated with Abir-Gulal, children affected by Cerebral Palsy enthralled the people by performing one after another. Images of different states of India were seen in the ceremony.

In the programme, families from different states showcased the culture of their respective states by presenting traditional dances of the state, while foreign guests also introduced the culture of their respective countries through dance. People applauded a lot after seeing the presentations of guests from Ghana, Nepal and Bangladesh. Therapists of Trishala Foundation sang folk songs on Holi along with traditional dhol majirs. On this occasion, Treasurer Ramashankar Srivastava, Trustee Dr. A.N. Verma, Kamala Kant Pandey, Shiv Nandan Gupta of Bharat Vikas Parishad and the entire team of Trishala Foundation were present in the program.
