Passport Application Process: The Government of India has simplified the application process for making a passport. Now any citizen can apply online sitting at home. Today we will tell you how you can apply for passport sitting at home.
Online Application: To apply online, visit the Passport Seva website passportindia.gov.in.
registration: After this, register again by clicking on New User and create user ID and password.
log in: Also login with the ID created on the website.
Fill the form: Click on Apply for New Passport or Reissue Passport and fill the online form.
Fill details: Select New Passport, Reissue Passport, Normal or Instant, 36 Pages or 60 Pages. Fill all the information like name, father’s name and address correctly.
fee payment: After paying the fee online, schedule an appointment and select the nearest passport office.
Appointment Sleep: Delete Appointment Sleep; SMS will also come on mobile.
Document Verification: Visit the passport office on the date of appointment to get the documents verified.
Proof of residence and birth: Aadhaar card, voter ID card, electricity bill, rent agreement, bank passbook with photograph (with three months' entry), or ration card can be used.
Birth Certificate: Use birth certificate, Aadhar card, voter ID, PAN card or 10th mark sheet.
express service: If you want an express passport, you can apply online and get the passport in just seven days, but the fee will be slightly higher.
Remember, before applying, ensure that the name and date of birth match in your Aadhar card, PAN card, 10th mark sheet and other documents. After police verification, your passport will be sent to your address.
