
Giving great relief to the passengers of North-East and North India, Indian Railways has decided to run the new Amrit Bharat Express between Gorakhpur and the country’s capital Delhi. Railway administration has officially announced to operate the already running Gorakhpur-Delhi special train as regular weekly Amrit Bharat Express (train number 15095/15096). This new service is going to start from August 27, which will provide fast, safe and economical travel facility to lakhs of passengers, students and working people of Purvanchal, Rohilkhand and Western Uttar Pradesh.
Complete train time table and operating days
According to the time table released by the Railways, this train will run from both directions once a week:

Train No. 15095 (Gorakhpur to Delhi): This train runs every Thursday night from 27th August. at 10:45 Will depart from Gorakhpur Junction and arrive at noon the next day. at 12:50 Will reach Old Delhi.

Train No. 15096 (Delhi to Gorakhpur): In the return direction, this train will run every Friday afternoon from 28th August. at 02:00 Will leave from Delhi and next day morning at 06:30 Will reach Gorakhpur Junction.

Daily and weekly operations: This service will operate on regular weekly basis, which will provide huge relief to the passengers going home on weekends.
Stoppages on routes and major stations (Stoppages)
This Amrit Bharat Express will run covering important junctions of Lucknow division and Moradabad division:

After departure from Gorakhpur: Khalilabad (11:23 pm), Basti (11:54 pm).

Central and Ruhilkhand region: Gonda (01:50 am), Burhwal (02:44 am), Sitapur (04:50 am) and Bareilly (07:59 am).

Western UP and NCR: It will reach Old Delhi via Moradabad (09:20 am) and Ghaziabad (11:44 am).

In return also, this train will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur, Burhwal, Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad stations at scheduled time.

A total of 22 modern LHB coaches have been fitted in the train:

The train will be operated by engines mounted on both front and rear (push-pull technology), which will keep its speed fast and save travel time. It is provided with modern passenger amenities like jitter-free semi-permanent couplers, ergonomic comfort seats, modular toilets, mobile charging points and CCTV cameras.

Regular trains from Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda and Sitapur to Delhi like Gorakhdham Express and Vaishali Express have huge waiting lists throughout the year.
