It is said that this temple was constructed in the year 1970. Patron and Senior Trustee of the Trust Shri Vishwanathji Trivedi Motabhai along with the devotees and all the people of the Trust played a very special role during the construction of the temple. After the construction of the temple, Gopal Mandir Trust was formed. The annual festival of this temple is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year in the month of May. This festival lasts for four days. Gopal temple is beautifully decorated on the occasion of festival.
Bhajan evening was organized in the night
The temple is maintained by an executive committee and various institutions, including Shri Gopal Vachanalay, Shri Gopal Shishu Vidya Mandir, etc. Gopal Reading Room has 20 thousand books related to cultural, religious and literature. Children from classes 1 to 5 are taught in the school. Aarti is organized in the temple at 9.30 am and Bhajan Sandhya is organized at 8 pm. Bhandara is also performed at the Gopal temple during the festival.
