Gopal Ashram will be renovated for Rs 156.35 lakh, Tourism Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan

Firozabad, March 16 (HS). The Tourism Department of Uttar Pradesh Government is renovating religious places, parks and roads associated with them to preserve Indian cultures in the state. In the same sequence, the Tourism Minister on Saturday performed the bhoomi pujan of the renovation work worth Rs 156.35 lakh of the city's Gopal Ashram.

Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that the project for the renovation of Gopal Ashram will cost Rs 156.35 lakh. He said that Gopal Ashram situated in Firozabad city is a historical temple, which includes works like multipurpose hall, toilet, internal flooring, development of park, tourist facilities, dustbin, stone bench etc. MLA Sadar's participation will also be included in this sacred work. When Sadar MLA Manish Asija proposed to the Tourism Minister to set up such a thing in a multi-purpose hall, he gave his approval and said to invest his own funds.

On this occasion, Corporation Mayor Kamini Rathore said that minister Jaiveer Singh performed puja for the renovation of Paliwal Auditorium along with Gopal Ashram. He said that the arrangement of Paliwal Auditorium has deteriorated due to which the intellectuals and citizens of the city who attend the programs every day had to face problems. He also said that the public had to face heat during the summer season. With the renovation of this auditorium, people will get relief from all these problems.

On the question asked by the journalists about the finding of expired medicines in a health center conducted by an IAS (Joint Commissioner) officer and the CMO calling it baseless and not taking any action against anyone, the Tourism Minister said that it will be investigated. And whoever is found guilty, action will be taken against him.

During the program, City BJP District President Uday Pratap Singh, former MP Om Pal Singh Nidar, City MLA Manish Asija, Mayor Kamini Rathore, Metropolitan President Rakesh Shankhwar, Block Chief Laxmi Narayan Yadav and hundreds of BJP workers were present.
