New Delhi : Alphabet Inc-owned Google has teamed up with the Election Commission of India (ECI) to prevent the spread of misinformation, misinformation and AI-generated data during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Google India has given this information in one of its blogs.
Google said that special preparations have been made for the next Lok Sabha elections in India. They are working closely with the Election Commission to ensure that people get adequate information related to elections and voting in both English and Hindi. Google is supporting the Fact Checking Collective (Shakti) of the Election Commission of India. Google will also tell people how to recognize content generated through AI.
In such cases, advertisers misuse AI but want to ensure that people get information with greater transparency. Our advertising policies already prohibit media use of deepfakes or manipulated content that misleads the public. Google said it has already started labeling AI-generated content on YouTube. Google recently partnered with the Content Provenance and Authenticity Alliance (C2PA).
