Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that the world is moving forward in the fast path of development due to science and technology, to give it the right direction and connect it with human welfare, good values will have to be developed in the society. If development is to be a boon then the spirit of love, kindness, compassion, philanthropy and peace will have to be awakened in the society. The work being done for public awareness by institutions like Brahma Kumaris is very important for a strong and prosperous India and global prosperity.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla was addressing the closing ceremony of the global summit “Building a Clean and Healthy Society through Spirituality” organized by Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in Mount Abu, Rajasthan on Monday. It is noteworthy that President Draupadi Murmu had attended the inaugural session of the summit held from 4 to 7 October (4 October).

Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that under the glorious leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is progressing at a fast pace and today India has become the 5th largest economy in the world. We will be the third largest economy in the world in the next three years and by the year 2047. Development is taking place at a rapid pace on a large scale. The rapidly growing economy has opened the doors to development. To empower the citizens, high level education and health facilities are being provided. Support is being provided at every stage of the path of development. He said that the great sacrifice of building the India of dreams is going on. To make this development permanent, it is necessary for mankind to be awakened. For this, India's glorious cultural heritage and spirituality will have to be revived.
Shukla said that Swami Vivekananda used to say that the 21st century will belong to India. India will be a world leader. India's leadership is absolutely necessary in the current global environment. Along with economic development, work will also have to be done on spiritual development. To build a developed, prosperous and happy world, everyone will have to follow India's thinking of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. To discharge this important responsibility of global welfare, it is necessary that every citizen of India plays a positive role and becomes a participant in the public welfare holy yagya.
The welfare of oneself, society and the world can be ensured only by becoming a good human being.
He said that revered Atal ji used to say, “Today man has learned to fly in the sky like a bird, has learned to swim in the sea like a fish but has not learned to walk on land like a human being.” Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that human values have to be awakened for global welfare. The forces that break the society are working, but it is a matter of happiness that the institutions and thinkers that connect the society, think about it and have a sense of global welfare are continuously working. He said that today the world is looking at institutions like Brahma Kumari with hopeful eyes. It is the responsibility of the present generation to make efforts towards connecting the coming generation with the rich culture and spirituality of India. Only by becoming a good human being can a prosperous future for oneself, society and the world be ensured.
