New Bank Service: You can lock and unlock internet, credit and debit card services of ICICI Bank. ICICI Bank has launched 'SmartLock'. This is a security measure through which customers can instantly lock and unlock banking services. Customers can do this work through phone or email without the help of a customer care executive. SmartLock can lock and unlock many banking services.
iMobile Pay app will help customers to lock and unlock. It helps customers to lock/unlock access to Internet Banking, UPI (payments from other UPI apps linked to bank account), Credit and Debit Cards with the click of a button. The first of its kind solution in the Indian banking sector, 'SmartLock' also allows customers to lock/unlock iMobile Pay.
Customers can use this service to activate and deactivate a particular banking service during a given period. They can also use it in case of potentially fraudulent transactions.
Talking about SmartLock, Siddharth Mishra, Head, Digital Channels and Partnerships, ICICI Bank said that the introduction of 'SmartLock' is another effort by the bank to strengthen the security of customer accounts and protect their interests. This Do-It-Yourself (DIY) facility allows customers to access banking services with enhanced security at one place with their own hands.
How to use the 'SmartLock' service:
Phase 1: Log in to iMobile Pay.
Phase 2: Click on the 'SmartLock' service at the bottom right corner of the home screen.
step 3: Click on the major banking services you want to lock/unlock.
step 4: Swipe to verify
To start using 'iMobile Pay', customers of any bank can link their bank account to the app, create a UPI ID and start transacting.
