YouTube music, background play and offline download facility is available in this plan. Also, users can access premium features. Besides, ad-free service will also be available in it. This plan can prove to be great for those users who do not want to watch advertisements.
What will be different in YouTube Premium Lite?
The YouTube Premium Lite plan will have fewer features than YouTube Premium. However, ad-free service will be provided as before, but the features that will be cut are that advertisements will be visible in music content and short videos. Users will not be able to enjoy ad-free streaming on YouTube Music. Also, users will not get the facility of offline download in the Lite subscription plan. Apart from this, access to features like background play will not be given.

YouTube started testing the Premium Lite subscription in the European market in the year 2021. However, this feature was not rolled out later.
